Line Dancing at Summer with the Library Kickoff Event

Celebrate the start of Summer with the Library 2026 at Alpenglow Park in Bend!

Join Alex Reininger, founder of Mindful Motion, for a fun, all-ages line dancing lesson on the Alpenglow Stage from 10:30am–11:30am. Alex is a Bend-based movement instructor passionate about creating playful, welcoming spaces where people of all ages can connect, build confidence, and experience the joy of movement together.

The lesson will feature beginner-friendly favorites like the “Chicken Dance” and “Cupid Shuffle,” along with classic line dances like the “Electric Slide” and newer crowd favorites like “Giddy Up.” No experience needed — just come ready to move, laugh, and have fun!

The event will also include activities and community booths from the library and local organizations, plus Face Painting by Anne and interactive open play with the Children’s Museum of Central Oregon.
